Gea by Malisa Catalani at Personal Structures - Confluences in Venice

Group Exhibition

On the occasion of the 61st International Art Exhibition - La Biennale di Venezia, Malisa Catalani presents Gea within Personal Structures - Confluences, the biennial contemporary art exhibition organized and hosted by the European Cultural Centre Italy in Venice.

From May 9 to November 22, 2026, Personal Structures - Confluences runs in parallel with the Venice Biennale across the historic venues of Palazzo Bembo, Palazzo Mora, and the Giardini della Marinaressa, bringing together artists, galleries, universities, and cultural institutions from all over the world.

In this international setting, where Venice once again becomes a crossroads of languages, cultures, and contemporary visions, Gea positions itself as a reflection on generative power, transformation, and the body as a site of origin, fracture, and rebirth.

The sculpture dialogues with the theme Confluences, understood as a space of encounter between different stories, experiences, and identities, where individual trajectories flow together into a continuously evolving collective fabric.
