On June 25, 2025, artist Malisa Catalani has been invited, among the featured participants, at “Women Investing in Their Future”, an event promoted by Fideuram, presenting one of her most iconic works: GEA. Created in bronze using the lost-wax casting technique, the sculpture offers a powerful reflection on the feminine principle as a generative force and foundation for transformation.
With her fluid, tactile language, GEA embodies femininity in its most primordial and universal form, standing as a symbol of nourishment, resilience, and renewal. Its enveloping and vital form evokes the figure of Mother Earth, becoming a metaphor for the most meaningful investment: in one’s identity and inner potential.
Catalani’s presence in an event dedicated to female empowerment highlights the role of art as a space for awareness and vision. GEA is not merely a work of art, but a tangible sign of how creativity can become a tool for growth, affirmation, and dialogue among women.
