Il giardino interiore was born from a series of recent works in which Pasquale Di Fazio performs an unexpected and poetic gesture: to bring out flowers from his typical abstract backdrops. Those interior landscapes made of luminous fields, vibrant chromatic harmonies and suspended geometries - always the expressive territory of the artist - now become the ground from which a new, recognisable and at the same time transfigured form blooms.

The flower in Di Fazio is neither illustration nor decoration: it is an act of emergence, something that emerges from the depth of pictorial matter like a thought that takes shape, like a memory that returns to light. The abstract seabeds do not disappear: they remain in the background as a chromatic memory, amplifying by contrast the silent and powerful presence of the organic forms that inhabit them.

The title of the exhibition suggests precisely this: a garden is not only an external place, but a space cultivated within oneself, made of care, expectation and trust in the return of beauty. With this series, Di Fazio brings to completion a dialogue between abstraction and nature that crosses all his research, taking him towards a new synthesis, capable of speaking to a wide audience with the immediate strength of the symbol.
