Press release
The Simon Bart Gallery is pleased to present Valore Infinito, an in-depth study between art and finance, which will be held on May 27, 2026 from 6:00 p.m. at the Palazzo della Cassa di Risparmio in Bologna, headquarters of Fideuram - Intesa SanPaolo Private Banking, in via Farini 22 in Bologna. The event, organised in collaboration with Fideuram consultants Claudia Terrusi and Lucrezia Benedettelli, will be accessible only by invitation and prior accreditation.
The evening includes the exhibition of a selection of works by Gianfranco Meggiato and a conference at the prestigious Sala dei Cento that will see the contributions of the historian and art critic Ilaria Tamburro and the artist Gianfranco Meggiato, as well as two authoritative voices in the financial - patrimonial field: Dr. Massimo Masotti, expert in finance and wealth management and Prof. Thomas Tassani of the University of Bologna, a scholar of tax and patrimonial law, both partners of the LS study - Lexjus Sinacta of Bologna.
Meggiato's works - through an unmistakeable aesthetic characterised by organic forms - become the fulcrum of a deep reflection on the nature of value. A value that is not only measured in figures, but in vision, in duration, in ability to resist the erosion of time and economic conjunctures. Today, in a global context characterised by volatile markets and a growing search for alternative assets, the sculptures of an internationally recognised master such as Meggiato symbolically embody a double nature: they are at the same time aesthetic objects of extraordinary power and tangible assets, capable of appreciating themselves over time with their own logic, independent of the oscillations of traditional markets.
The works on display go beyond the dimension of simple contemplation to become a programmatic manifesto and an opportunity for concrete deepening for those who consider art as an integral part of a forward-looking patrimonial strategy.
The comparison between these two looks - the artistic and the financial, legal and fiscal - will give visitors and guests a complete and operational picture, capable of transforming the passion for art into a conscious and strategically founded choice. Choosing the Fideuram headquarters in Bologna for this dialogue is not accidental. It is the physical place where customer trust meets the expertise of consultants, where savings become a project and a project becomes a future. Bringing Gianfranco Meggiato's works here means clearly stating that art is not a luxury reserved for a few, but a tool for building affordable, understandable and - if well guided - extraordinarily effective value.
Valore Infinito is then much more than an exhibition. It is a manifesto: the statement that art and finance are not separate worlds, but the faces of the same coin. That beauty has a logic, and that that logic can - and must - enter the most important conversations we have about our future.
