Born in Pescara, Italy, in 1980, Raul is a contemporary artist who likes to describe himself as a citizen of the world. His artistic practice unfolds between Europe and the United States and is shaped by encounters with different cultures, which inspire a personal visual language that weaves together signs, archetypes, and universal meanings.
At the core of his artistic vision lies the belief that every symbol is a vessel of energy. Through his work, Raul channels this energy, allowing it to be experienced anew by the viewer. His creations thus become instruments of connection, capable of transcending cultural boundaries and evoking a shared, universal dimension.
From the very beginning of his career, Raul has embraced a free and spontaneous artistic practice, painting on any surface he encounters during his travels. From walls to paper, glass to plastic, from newspaper pages to school notebooks, every material represents an opportunity for expression. This approach reflects his view of art as an open, accessible, and constantly evolving experience.
His work is distinguished by an essential yet deeply evocative visual language, in which iconic elements and symbolic references engage with spirituality, energy, and collective identity. Through an immediate and recognizable aesthetic, Raul invites viewers to reflect on the relationship between the individual, memory, and culture.
Throughout his career, Raul has participated in numerous solo and group exhibitions in Italy and abroad. His first exhibition took place in 2011 at Gallery 212 in Miami's Wynwood district, one of the world's leading hubs for street art and contemporary art. Since then, his exhibition history has continued to expand across both national and international contexts, reflecting the ongoing evolution of his artistic research.
