Biography

Dario Tironi was born in Bergamo in 1980. In 2006 he graduated with first-class honours in Sculpture from the Brera Academy of Fine Arts in Milan. Throughout his career, he has exhibited both in Italy and abroad, presenting his work in significant solo and group shows. Among these are the solo exhibition Figure Futuribili at the Anatomical Wax Museum “Luigi Cattaneo” – University Museum System of the University of Bologna (2018), the group exhibition Superfuture at the MAD Museum in Singapore (2017), and the solo show Plastic Beauty at SimonBart Gallery in Porto Cervo in the same year. Also in 2017, he created the permanent installation Ho cercato l’armonia at the Vittoriale degli Italiani in Gardone and took part in Dialogue 2 at Parco della Gherardesca, Four Seasons, Florence. In 2016 he participated in Dalla terra al cielo at the Polo Museale in Gualdo Tadino and in Neuro Art at the MLAC of Sapienza University in Rome, while with the solo exhibition Monument to Mankind he presented his work in Piazza del Duomo in Pietrasanta. The previous year, he took part in ExpoArteContemporanea at Villa Bagatti Valsecchi in Varedo, curated by Vittorio Sgarbi, as well as in the group shows Contexto in Edolo and Impatto 2.0 at the Museo Nazionale Atestino in Padua.

Dario Tironi currently lives and works in Bergamo.
