Biography

Lorenzo Quinn (Rome, May 7, 1966) is an Italian-American figurative sculptor of international acclaim. The son of actor Anthony Quinn and costume designer Iolanda Addolori, he spent his childhood between Italy and the United States, developing an early passion for the visual arts. He studied at the American Academy of Fine Arts in New York, initially focusing on surrealist painting, but at 21 he discovered that sculpture was the medium best suited to express his energy and originality.
Quinn is renowned for his monumental works and public art, which convey universal values and authentic emotions. Among his most celebrated pieces are Support (2017) in Venice, with hands holding Ca’ Sagredo, Give (2020) in Florence, Together (2021), a land-art work presented in Cannes and Egypt, and Force of Nature (2017) in Shanghai, all of which engage with space and contemporary themes such as the environment, life, and the power of nature.
Since 1988, Quinn has lived in Spain with his family, continuing to develop his artistic language and participating in major international exhibitions, including the Sharjah Biennale and Art Dubai. His sculptures, known for their immediate emotional impact and symbolic realism, have firmly established his presence on the global art scene.
